Procedure
Sulfamic acid (3.0 g, 30.9 mmol) was placed into a round-bottom flask and suspended in thionyl chloride (6.17 mL, 84.97 mmol) under dry argon. Chlorosulfuric acid (2.26 mL, 33.99 mmol) was added and the flask was equipped by a reflux condenser, connected to a CaCl2 drying tube and heated at 130 °C for 24 hours. .
